Beyond administering exams, the department plays a critical role in evaluation and academic feedback. Once exams are completed, the team (which includes subject teachers and academic coordinators) standardizes the grading process by setting clear marking schemes and conducting moderation meetings so that assessment is uniform and just. They compile and analyze exam results to identify trends – for instance, pinpointing topics where many students struggled or excelled. These analyses are shared with teachers and the Career Guidance & Counseling Department to help formulate remedial classes or enrichment programs as needed. 

The Examination & Evaluation Department also manages report cards and progress reports, ensuring that each student and their parents receive comprehensive feedback on performance. Importantly, the department educates students about exam skills and ethics; orientation sessions are held on proper exam techniques, time management, and the importance of academic honesty. Through its organized approach to testing and emphasis on fair evaluation, this department contributes significantly to academic growth. Students learn to set goals and take responsibility for their learning, knowing they will be assessed transparently. Additionally, the rigorous exam preparation and feedback cycle guided by this department prepares students for external board exams and competitive tests, making them more exam-ready and resilient under pressure – qualities that benefit them in higher education and future career assessments.
